2026 University of Virginia Tibetan Entrepreneurs Fellowship Program Student Application

Applicant Requirements (non-optional):

• • དབྱིན་སྐད་དང་དབྱིན་ཡིག་གི་འབྲི་ཀློག་ལ་བྱང་ཆ་ལེགས་པོ་ཡོད་པ།
    Good knowledge of spoken and written English

• • མ་མཐར་ཡང་བོད་སྐད་བཤད་པར་དཀའ་ངལ་མེད་པ།
    Fluency in at least spoken Tibetan

• • ཚོང་ལས་ཀྱི་ཕྱོགས་ནས་ཉུང་མཐའ་ཡང་ལོ་གཉིས་ཀྱི་མཉམ་མྱོང་ཡོད་པ།
    At least two years’ experience in business

• • བོད་ཀྱི་མི་བརྒྱུད་ཡིན་པ།
    Tibetan ethnicity

• • Between the ages of 25 and 40

• • Commitment to take part in all program sessions, online and in-person

        Application Review and fellowship interviews: Review begins immediately, and interviews completed by May 30, 2026. NOTE: Not every applicant will be granted an interview.

        Decisions will be made on a rolling basis, with finalists confirmed on or before May 30, 2026.

Applications submitted by March 30,2026 will be prioritized, but we will accept applications up to April 30, 2026. We strongly encourage people to apply by March 30, 2026.

ཚང་མས་ཡིད་འཇོག་བྱ་དགོས་པ་ཞིག་ལ། ང་ཚོས་ལོ་རེར་བསྐུར་བའི་སྙན་ཞུ་ལ་བལྟས་ཏེ་གདམ་ཐོན་བྱ་རྒྱུ་ཡིན་པ་ལས། གདམ་ཐོན་པ་སུས་དྲ་ཐོག་གི་འཛིན་གྲྭ་མི་ཞུགས་པའམ་ཡང་ན་སྣང་མེད་བྱས་ཚེ། དངོས་ཞུགས་ལས་གཞིར་གདན་འདྲེན་མི་ཞུ་བའང་འབྱུང་སྲིད།
Please note that every year we evaluate candidates based on all applications submitted that year. Not all applicants will be granted an interview. Finalists who are not sufficiently engaged in the online program may not be invited to participate in the in-person program.
